2024 27th Anniversary of the Asthma, Allergy & Immunology Update

This year’s conference will cover the topic of: Allergic and Immunologic Diseases of the Skin. The skin is the largest organ of the body, and it is affected by allergic and other dysregulations of the immune system. Although eczema and urticaria/angioedema are the most common allergic/immunologic problems of the skin, several immunological and autoimmune conditions expressed themselves in the skin. This year, we will be focusing our attention on the skin and will review skin pathologies within the hypersensitization context of Gell and Coombs. We have assembled a panel of young experts to help us through that journey. For balance to the review of the allergic and immunologic problems of the skin, we have invited a skin surgeon to give us insight about how surgeons approached skin pathologies in contrast to medically trained providers.

1. List the important developments in Allergy and Immunology in 2023-2024
2. Diagnose the most common allergic and immunologic problems of the skin
3. Interpret the routine pathology report of a skin biopsy
4. Identify different skin conditions in the context of Gell and Coombs classification
5. List the common treatment used in the treatment of skin allergic conditions
6. Discuss the role of biologics in the management of immunological skin conditions

Albany Medical College’s Division of Allergy & Immunology and Office of Continuing Medical Education are please to welcome back all of our past vendors and new vendors to our 27th Asthma, Allergy & Immunology Update!  This year’s conference will be held at our NEW LOCATION - Holiday Inn, 232 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, NY.  We would like to extend an extra special invitation for you to return to exhibit at this event or perhaps join us for the first time.  This is a well-established conference attracts allergists, internists, primary care physicians, family practitioners, pediatricians, PA’s, NP’s and nurses from New York, Massachusetts, and Vermont with expected attendance over 100 participants. The conference is organized into educational sessions in the morning and into late afternoon, with breaks and lunch, which provides ample time to mingle and converse with the attendees.  Your Display Fees include your table, chair(s), breakfast, lunch and breaks.

Display tables are set outside of the educational room/area.  Display invitations are being sent to several pharmaceutical companies.  Display fees for this conference are associated as advertising costs.  Displays will be up all day and representatives will be able to interact with doctors, allied health professionals and all participants throughout the day.
