Overview
In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve seen a shift in attitudes toward vaccination. Clinicians caring for obstetric and/or neonatal patients struggle with how best to protect these vulnerable populations. In this interactive program, we’ll discuss current vaccination recommendations, vaccine uptake trends, and explore vaccine hesitancy and ways to address it.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe recommendations regarding vaccination in pregnancy.
  2. Describe the standard neonatal vaccination regimen from birth through 6 months and historical uptake data.
  3. Describe the current state of vaccine implementation in pregnancy.
  4. Understand factors contributing to vaccination hesitancy.
  5. Discuss proven approaches to combatting hesitancy.
