Overview
This conference is designed to address childhood abuse and neglect at all levels of discipline.
No matter how big or little your degree of involvement, we hope to touch on every aspect of child abuse from protecting a crime scene for those called to a child’s home, caring for a child in the acute stage of abuse, and follow up care thereafter. Mental health of an abused child. Advocacy. Red flags and prevention.
We hope to have collaboration and multidisciplinary interactions across the workforce to develop and enhance their professional skills and knowledge in the prevention, recognition, assessment, investigation, and treatment of all forms of child maltreatment using best practices.
Attendees will be able to hear from speakers on topics that will help professionals and the public better understand child abuse and strengthen response efforts.
Opportunities to network and to connect to a community of practice.
Provide attendees with hands-on tools they can use to create community-based wellness programming for children who are healing from abuse or neglect.

Registration

Pre registration by June 12 is required.

$50 per person
