AMHS 2030: Preparing for Medicine in the Age of AI – A symposium dedicated to delineating the current state of AI usage across the Albany Medical Healthcare System, and looking towards the future of AI adoption, responsible use, curricular development, and usage in research at AMHS, and what steps need to be taken towards attaining that future.

Registration is free and preferred by September 17 - but late registration welcome.

1. Describe the current capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools in clinical care, research, and medical education.
2. Apply practical prompting and verification strategies when using AI tools in teaching, research, and clinical workflows.
3. Identify ethical, privacy, and regulatory considerations governing AI use with patients and learners.
4. Discuss how AI-driven precision education can individualize learner assessment and feedback. Develop a plan to incorporate at least one AI tool responsibly into their own teaching, research, or clinical practice.
