2027 Cardiology for the Primary Care Provider Conference

The conference will highlight cardiovascular risk assessment and prevention, hypertension, contemporary lipid management and emerging lipid-lowering therapies, obesity and cardiometabolic disease, diabetes and cardiovascular risk reduction, heart failure, atrial fibrillation and common arrhythmias, and coronary and valvular heart disease. Particular emphasis will be placed on new and evolving pharmacologic therapies, new clinical guidelines, and cardiovascular prevention in special populations—including women, pregnancy and pregnancy-related cardiovascular risk, South Asian patients, and individuals with autoimmune and rheumatologic diseases. The program will also explore emerging cardiovascular technologies and advances in cardiovascular imaging, along with practical approaches to who to test, when to treat, and when to refer.
