2023 Martha Lepow, MD Memorial Update in Pediatrics

 The program will consist of 5 twenty-minute updates given by pediatric specialists.  Each talk will be followed by a 5-minute question and answer session.  Dinner will be served.  The target audience is academic and community pediatric providers practicing in the region of the Capital District.

Registration includes a buffet dinner.

1. Identify two interventions for adolescent anxiety that may be used in the primary care office
2. Define SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy) and recognize its importance as a cause of death in patients with epilepsy.
3. Be familiar with new therapeutics for atopic dermatitis, including biologics.
4. Explore the more recent common viral patterns and epidemiology via the relevant literature.
5. Summarize return to physical activity guidelines after a Covid infection.
