Overview
With the current rise in prevalence and incidence of diabetes, as well as an aging population, the care of the diabetic patient has become of utmost importance in every medical setting. As part of diabetes awareness month, we have developed a program to discuss unique challenges in the approach to the diabetic patient in inpatient, surgical, and outpatient settings, as well as to discuss new developments in treatment of the diabetic patient. This talk is relevant to all HCPs as the diabetic patient is complex and requires multi-disciplinary approach and collaboration between providers.
