Overview
Both Major Depression and Dementia have elements of cognitive dysfunction and can have apparent mood components. These similarities can make them challenging to distinguish in the clinical setting. This lecture will discuss how these two conditions overlap, how clinical professionals can distinguish the two, and the variety of ways in which they impact patients.
