2026 Capital District Pediatric Rheumatology Conference

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at Albany Medical College welcomes all pediatric providers (physicians, advanced practice providers), all pediatric learners (medical students, residents, fellows) and pediatric nurses in New York Capital District to a trainee-led Dinner CME event in Pediatric Rheumatology. The program will cover highly relevant clinical topics such as approach to joint pain, recurrent fevers, skin manifestations and common emergencies including their initial management and referral pathways with ample opportunity for Q/A and networking over dinner

Pre Registration is Required Prior to Friday June 12, 2026

No on-site registration available.

1. Differentiate between inflammatory and non-inflammatory joint pain in children and young adults
2. Discuss the clinical significance of common rheumatologic laboratory tests including autoantibody testing
3. Review clinical presentation, diagnostics and first line management of rheumatologic emergencies
4. Recognize common dermatologic manifestations of rheumatic diseases
5. Outline the presenting features, diagnostic work up and initial management of periodic fever syndromes
